The World Champion

Date of Birth: 30th April 1968

Robert has been World Champion since 1993 and became the World Doubles Champion in 2003 with fellow Australian Steve Virgona. In 2000, and 2001, he won the "grand slam" of U.S., Australian, French and British Opens.

Date of Birth: 18th August 1966

Whilst at Petworth House as Head Professional, Chris's real tennis has flourished. His strengths are his athleticism, his forcing game with strong volleys, and his unflappable temperament which allows him to play his best on the "big stage". Australian Open: 1999

NICK WOOD

Nationality: British
World Ranking: 6
Date of Birth: 14th December 1970

Studying the game under Chris Ronaldson at Hampton Court, Nick progressed through the junior ranks, winning the British Under 21 and Under 24 singles and doubles titles. In the senior ranks, he has won the 1996 US Open doubles title partnering Julian Snow and in 1998 he won his first major singles title: The European Open Championships in Paris. Nick is a doubles specialist. In 2000 he won the US Open Doubles with Julian Snow and the British Open Doubles with Chris Bray. In the 2002 US Open Doubles he and Mike Gooding won the title. They also won the British Professional Doubles in January 2002. In May 2002 Nick won the British Professionals' Handicap Singles, The Browning Cup. Nick has a beautiful classic game of tennis and is the favourite of the purists.
